Enrolment fees usually cover the costs for printing and preparing your materials. It is often also a sneaky way for businesses to get some money from you in case you stop your lessons 'sooner than expected'!

However, these fees are not passed on to you during your tutoring arrangement, so there are no enrolment costs!

This applies to multiple lessons (5, 10, 15 lessons) booked in bulk & in advance. Should you request a refund / cancel your tutoring arrangement after your first lesson and within 10 days of making the upfront payment (regardless of the reason why you wish to cancel), we will offer a full refund for outstanding sessions (100% money back for the remaining lessons).

If you request a refund after 10 days of making the upfront payment or after the 2nd session, you will obtain a partial refund (75% of the amount equivalent for remaining lessons).

We are very flexible (read more about our flexible options below) and you will be given a set number of weeks to complete your sessions (for example, if you book 10 weekly sessions in bulk and in advance, we will allow up to 15 weeks to complete the lessons).

Administrative fees cover the costs for numerous expenses such as posting of materials prepared for your lessons to your tutors, printing, phone calls, website costs etc.
However, we are committed to offer you value for money language lessons and we do not charge you anything extra for these expenses!

We will not charge you a travel fee if you request to have lessons at a location which is within 5-10km from our expert tutors.

If you are located more than 10km from our expert tutors, we will then inform you accordingly and you can either pay a small travel fee (flat rate of $10) or have lessons at a mutually convenient location at no extra cost!

Whether you prefer to have your lesson at 8am or 8pm; on weekends or during your lunch break - we do not charge you extra tutoring fees for having lessons when they suit you best!

Even better: we do not charge triple rates for lessons taking place on public holidays!

You only pay for your lessons - nothing else will be charged!

The quote provided to you is the only fee you end up paying!

All students who book private one to one sessions with one of our expert tutors are eligible for a 50% discount on our conversation classes (pay only $12.50 per hour instead of $25 per hour).

Conversation classes run based on demand / requests from students.

Handouts and materials prepared by our team / by your tutor (if any) will be handed out to you at the end of the lessons. If you are seeking specific materials, please discuss with your tutor. We are also able to email you vocabulary sheets, home exercises or other materials if appropriate and depending on availability of resources.

When you book your private lessons with us, you save money by not having to purchase books and resources – most of our tutors have been provided with bilingual magazines, and grammar / vocabulary sheets for your lessons.

If you would like to request specific titles, please inform your tutor. If we already have the resource items that you are after, you can borrow it free of charge!

All our team members are native French speakers from France, Belgium, Canada and other French-speaking countries. Unlike some other French language providers who believe that French tutors should only come from France, we believe that wealth of knowledge and tutor experience comes first - there is no need to provide students with a tutor born in France without any experience in teaching!

We do not charge students an extra fee for premium / expert tutors. All our tutors have been selected from dozens of applicants and our teachers are experts in their field - you won’t find better value for money!

If you wanted to learn from books, you could have purchased those materials yourself!

Our tutors and teachers are experience and qualified – they are able to teach without using books and prepare your lessons’ materials according to your requirements!

Once your lessons are confirmed, your tutor will meet you for your first lesson. During this first session, your tutor will be able to assess your level as well as get a general idea of your specific requirements.

Your tutor will then design tailor-made lessons to suit your needs!
